This post will be short and candy-corn sweet, because I believe the pictures tell the whole story. On Wednesday, I went to a Tri-Delta Pumpkin Carving Mixer with the boys in BCA. We played a silly little matching game and were paired up with a partner. We ripped out all of the pumpkin goo and seeds, and got to carving. I went straight from the mixer to powder puff practice for MSC Fish. We are a dedicated team that practices regularly three times per week in order to prepare for our tournament against the other FLOs. Our boy coaches take it very seriously, and it is so much fun! After practice, we rushed back to the dorm and changed into our costumes for this week’s GCM (General Committee Meeting) for MSC Fish. Tonight was finally the night for FOF (Family of Fish) and BIG/little reveal. We were each instructed to dress up in a different themed costume. My FOF’s theme was “The Beginning,” so naturally I dressed up as a dinosaur. RAWR! The other people in my “family” were dressed up as Adam & Eve, God, babies, and cave men/women. We covered every theory of the beginning of earth's history… it was absolutely perfect. Other FOF’s themes were Mario, Camo, 50’s, pigs, etc. After the reveal, my entire FOF headed to Kathleen’s house and hung out. Everyone has such strong personalities in our family, but somehow it was like we were always meant for each other. We all yelled and laughed the entire night, attempted to announce our names and other fun facts about ourselves, chowed down on 60 nuggets, and bonded over the littlest moments. It was a blast to dress up as a dinosaur and see how creative everyone else’s costumes were in MSC Fish. This weekend will be my first Halloween in College Station and I can only imagine how much fun it is going to be. Costumes, college, and complete craziness.
